Dogs In Danger rescue was founded in order to help dogs that need homes immediately to avoid euthanasia. We have re-homed over 400 dogs and puppies in the past few years from high kill shelters to loving homes. We consistantly work with shelters that transport to us in West Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, and Arkansas where there aren't enough adopters to save these dogs in shelters. Many of the communities are very rural, and ultimately do not have the resources or people to adopt all the dogs that come into the shelter every day. The sad truth is some shelters have to euthanize 8/10 dogs that come in simply because they do not have enough space. These dogs are sometimes housebroken, spayed/neutered, good with dogs/cats/kids, and would have made perfect family pets. This site will be kept updated of available dogs currently in our rescue that need homes. Adopting one means saving his/her life, and one of another that can take his/her place in a foster home. If you are interested in a certain dog, please fill out the online application and call Sarah at 908-745-9191. Help Our Dogs! We constantly need to buy paper towels, crates, dog food, vaccinations, bowls, dewormer, leashes, collars...and the list goes on! Even the smallest donation helps our homeless dogs.

                                        TYSON

Tyson is an eight month old black lab mix. He is about full grown at 25Ibs. Tyson gets along well with other dogs, and loves everyone! He is very smart and a quick learner who is doing well housebreaking. He was rescued along with 15 other dogs and puppies, and is currently in a foster home.                                                     YOSHI

Yoshi is currently recovering from an illness and will be all better and ready for a new home in about a week. Yoshi gets along well with other dogs and has the most beautiful markings. Two year old Misty is looking for a new home! She is a Papillion who is good with kids and cats. She is housebroken, obidence trained and kennel trained.                                       HENRY

Henry is the sweetest little puppy you will ever meet! He is a 12 week old wirehaired terrier mix of some sort. He was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time. Henry gets along well with other dogs and loves to play and cuddle. He is doing well with his housebreaking and is already crate trained, he will never go in his crate. Please consider adding this sweetheart to your family! His adoption fee of $200 covers ALL of his puppy shots and dewormer. He also has had this months dose of frontline and heartgard.                                                RAVEN

Raven was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time. Her five puppies were all adopted and now its her turn for a loving home! Raven is housebroken and up to date on shots. She loves other dogs and loves to play with them. She has a laid back personality and loves to spend her days just relaxing on the couch with you. Raven knows "sit" and "come" as well.
